The Spring Fling
Maya has just been handed a permission slip for her schools spring fling. She thinks that she should have never taken it or thrown it away but she didn't even though she knew she wouldn't be able to go because of her father. -
The office
Maya gets called to the office during her ELA class because her brother,Nurzhan Alazova, because he had gotten into a fight with another boy who was picking on him.they called her to the office because they could not reach her mother so they needed her fathers number.they also needed her to translate. -
Parent Conference
She calls her dad tells him to come and waits with her brother till her dad comes. when her dad comes she translate for him but changes most of the words so her brother Nurzhan wont get in as much trouble. -
The permission slip
When they get home Nurzhan some how persuades his father to let Maya to go to the Spring Fling. but Nurzhan has to go with her as her chaperone.
