Graduation from High School
When I graduated from high school, I did not know what I wanted in life. I was engaged to be married, but did I want to go to school or start having children? I feel that this falls under Erickson's Identity vs. Role Confusion. I feel that most people feel this way coming out of high school -
Getting Married
I married my first husband. I was married for eleven years. This falls under Intimacy vs. Isolation. I wanted to have children so therefor I chose Intimacy. He was my high school sweetheart and we had a very deep connection. -
Retirement Home in Scotland
My husband and I are at a time in our life where we are looking to retire and do that in a wonderful community that we can give back to. We found that place in Hoy Orkney. This is very important to our family and to us. This is Erickson's stage of Generativity vs. Stagnation. He is going to retire and I am going to open up a Bed and Breakfast.
