I used Floppy disks to save papers assignments for school -
AOL Email and instant messaging
When I was about nine we got an AOL account and I remeber thinking that instant messaging was the coolest thing ever. -
Telephone with answering machine and caller I.D.
We got a telephone that had an answering machine where people could leave messages and we could see who had called. -
Our first DVD and DVD Player
The first DVD that my family owned was Star Wars episode 1. I remember thingking that DVDs were kind of silly because they were the same as VHS's. -
Windows Media Player
I would upload my CDs on my computer and listen to them on there instead of on a CD player. -
Itunes
I downloaded Itunes to my computer. Through Itunes I could purchase new music. I could also for the first time purschase a single song that I like instead of having to buy the whole album. -
Cell Phone
I got my very own cell phone when I recieved my driver's license. -
Ipod
I got my first Ipod in 2007 and I loved it! I could carry all of the music that I owned at one time. -
Laptop
I went away to college and bought my b\very own laptop to do my schoolwork on. -
Smart phone
I got my first smart phone where I could access the internet at all times.
