First Sport ~ Figure Skating
My mom started skating when she was 6 years old. She started in skating lessons and learn to skate and then when she was 8 years old she became apart of her first competitive figure skating team. -

My mom skated with the KW-Gems at the age of 8 until she was 10. -

Figure Skating ~ Second Team
My mom skated with the Diamond On Ice when she was 10 until she was 14. In 1987 she was on 2 teams this team and KWeens. She managed to do both these teams for 2 years. -

Figure Skating ~ Third Team
My mom skated with the KWeens On Ice when she was 13 until she was 19. She was fortunate enough to be able to go to the 1988 Calgary Olympics and preformed in the closing ceremonies when she was 14. The ceremonies were February 28 and they were there for training prior to that date. In December 1989 - January 1990 her team went to Sweden and Finland to compete in the World Challenge competitions. -

Silver Medals in National Championships ~ 1987 (Laval Quebec), 1988 (Toronto Ontario), 1989 (Edmonton Alberta), and 1990 (Kitchener Waterloo) all with KWeens On Ice -

My mom married my dad Brian. They had been dating 1 year before they got engaged. They got engaged in my home town where I grew up in Alliston ON in 1997. They got married at St. Michaels Church in Waterloo ON. -

My mom worked in the Recreation Therapist for Neurorehab teen unit for 5 years and in that time she has seen some injuries that were life changing and it was all because of one bad decision. -

Liam was born in Milton, ON @ Milton District Hospital on February 3, 2005. Liam is in Grade 6. -
