Sam then steals Fathers gun "The Brown Bess" and leaves. Tim knows where Sam went. -
Continentals came looking for Father's gun
Continentals tried to get Father's gun, but Sam has it. No one was killed except Father was hurt. -
Tim delivers a letter for Mr. Heron
Tim delivers a letter to Aaron Burr for Mr. Heron. Betsy Read opens the letter and finds out it says, "If this letter is recieved, the messenger is reliable." -

America claims its independence -
Trip to Verplanks Point, Father is captured.
Father and Tim go to Verplanks Point to sell the cattle. Father is captured by cowboys. -
Tim and Mother find out Father is dead.
Father has been dead for more than a month. He died on a BRITISH prison ship. -
H= Treaty of Alliance
Treaty with France, helped with win in the Revolutionary War. -
Sam comes home to Redding.
Sam and the Continentals come to Redding and set up an encampment not far from the Tavern. -
Sam gets accused of being a cattle thief.
Sam went home to talk to Tim. Two soldiers took 2 cows and started to take the meat. Sam tried to go stop them. The two soldiers framed Sam as the Cattle Thief. -
Sam's Trial.
Sam's Trial ends up with him getting executed on the 16th of February. -
Sam gets executed.
Sam gets shot from close range by 3 people. Then gets caught on fire by the blast. Then is finally shot again. He is dead on February 16, 1779. -
