My adventures with Cats
For the majority of my life I have been a dog person, but I also have cats. I still love dogs. -
Zelda

Homer
My best friend's father-in-law, Homer Keck, passes away. (Clipart from sharefaith.com) -
Homer the cat
A male, abandoned kitten is found in the bushes at my brother's. We decide to name him Homer, in memory of Mr. Keck. My dog is a fantanstic big sister. -
Lavendar
Outside - A female cat has three kittens. We can get our hands on one female we call Lavendar. -
Spanky
Outside - A litter of 4 is born. All tame. We adopt out 3 and keep Spanky. -
Lavendar 2
Lavendar is spayed and brought inside to live. She joins Homer and Duchess. -
Spanky 2
Spanky is neutered and brought inside to live. He joins the 2 other cats & Duchess. Homer and Spanky become collectivly known as "the boys." -
Outdoor Crew
We invest in traps. Over the course of the next 3 months all the cats outside are trapped, neutered, and released back into the yard. (Clip art from http://www.funny-clip-art-cool-drawings.com/cat-clip-art.html) -
Duchess
The queen of the house, Duchess, passes away. She is missed by all her feline siblings. (Her mom and grandmother miss her, too.) She was 12 1/2. We brought her home when she was 7 or 8 weeks old.
