1979 Mustang
The 1979 model, was released based on the Fox platform. This means it would have enough seats for four passengers. This also had a larger trunk area. -
Ford Mustang SVO
Sales started for this limited edition Mustang. It was the fastest, and most expensive mustang ever sold. They made this to begin their racing department. SVO stands for Special Vehicle Operations department. -
SN-95 released
Based on an updated version of the Fox platform, it featured new styling that referenced to some classic mustangs. The convertible Mustang also returned. Ford allocated 700 million dollars to improve the car's handling, noise, vibration , and harshness conditions.
