Mussolini deserts the Socailist Party, knowing that WW1 would change the world, and founded his own independednt newspaper Popolo D"Italia where he gave birth to fascim, by backing up his own newspaper the Autonomus Fascists, and then moved to working with the Italian middle class. He then sometime in 1917 backed his newspaper with a second movement, Revolutianary Fascists. Finally in 1919 Mussolini's newspaper began to decline and he called for a third movement, but it failed. -

Mussolini and a group of old war veterans create the Fascist Party Congress, and is named for the fasces which is a symbolisation of roman power. -
