Won The Wicked Lottery
The sum mer before 5th grade, my mom took me to Philly to enter the Wicked lottery, and we won!! It was my first real show, and I got to see it in the front row. It was my introduction to musical theatre, which is a huge part of my life and really defines who I am. -
First Lead
The summer before 6th grade was when I got my first lead in a musical. I was the Sour Kangaroo in Seussical and truly had the time of my life! It broadened my horizons vocally by miles and I made some of my best friends during that show. -
Least Favorite Costume
Annie’s costume was absolutely terrible, but the music was so fun! It is very upbeat and optimistic, and was very meaningful to me at the time. I managed to rip my bloomers because I breatged too hard for the final note in “Tomorrow”. -
Got My First Ukulele
I now have 4 differently types of ukuleles, which I taught myself to play upon receiving my first pineapple on Christmas of 2016. I now have a soprano, a pineapple, a concert, and a tenor. I play them whenever I get a spare minute and I love how transportable they are. -
Finally Played a Protagonist!!
Vivienne in Legally Blonde was my first ever protagonist character, and even that can be debated. I’ve always been typed as the sassy meanie, and Vivienne was so fun to play around with because she has an incredible amount of depth and is somehow a protagonist and an antagonist all in one. I also created some incredible bonds with the cast that I value greatly!! -
First Solo Performance in Concert
After takin voice lessons for about 6 months, I was so excited to finally sing my own song in a concert. I’m not the type to get nervous before performances, but when I tell you I was shaking I mean my knees were knocking. It was so fun to sing one of Belle’s song, as I’m usually type casted as the villain and never the ingénue. -
Favorite Cast
Last summer I performed Les Mis at the Broadway Theatre of Pitman and played Mme. Thenardier. I made so many amazing friends, and the directors taught me so many skills. The character was so fun to explore and develope, and I would give anything to go back. -
Saw Dear Evan Hansen
I’ve been thoroughly in love with the show “Dear Evan Hansen” for almost 6 years, and sobbed when I (finally) got tickets. The show is a true masterpiece that has been a huge part of my life for the past third of my life. You can always catch me dancing along to its soundtrack! I also met Michael Lee Brown and cried a whole lot.
