Grand Theft Auto 2
Originally released for PC

The second Grand Theft Auto game expanded the number of radio stations from seven to eleven. The music was, like the original GTA composed in house by Craig Conner and Colin Anderson with Bert Reid, Stuart Ross, and Paul Scargill, under various pseudonyms. -
Grand Theft Auto III
Originally released for the Playstation 2
DVD
GTA III reeled the radio station count back from the amount 2 had from eleven to nine, but included few original songs composed again by Craig Conner and Stuart Ross. GTA III's radio stations carried a library of hit songs by actual established musicians, with only a few songs by fake bands.
Grand Theft Auto III was also revolutionary for its vast use of recorded in-game dialogue. -
Grand Theft Auto IV
Originally released for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360
Blu-ray/DVD
Grand Theft Auto IV dwarfed the music of the previous games in the series, featuring a whopping 19 radio stations with loads of hit artists, hundreds more than GTA III.
Original music was composed by Michael Hunter, with Colin Anderson in a lesser role. The dialogue was greatly expanded over III as well, featuring 80,000+ lines of spoken dialogue in the game.
