I was born in Houston, Texas
I was born at St. Joseph's Hospital in Houston, Texas to an unmarried young woman. She was studying to be a teacher and my birth dad was studying medicine. -
Adopted by my parents Bill and Melba Carter
Both of my parents graduated from the same high school (Temple High) and the same college (Baylor University). My dad worked at Shell Oil Company in purchasing and my mom stayed home with me after teaching elementary school for several years. -
Parents moved apart; I moved with my Mom and Grandmother to Waco.
My mom moved to Waco to go back to graduate school. -
We adopt my sister, Vicki!!!
It was so exciting to be a big sister. She is still a good friend. Love her so much. -
Graduated from Temple High School
Graduated with a huge class of seniors. Excited to be going on to college. Not quite sure what direction I'm going in--college for sure though. -
Costa Rica Trip with my daughter
Zip lining, active volcanos and 10 days with my daughter! It was my first big out of country adventure.
