  • The Day I Was Born

    I was born at St. Joe's hospital in Joliet on Monday, March 14th, 1983. I weighed 9lbs. 4oz. and was 21 inches long.

  • Baby Brother

    My baby brother, Alex, was born on March 7th at Silver Cross Hospital in Joliet. He weighed 10lbs. 10oz. and was 21 inches long.

  • 1st Cruise

    1st Cruise
    Over spring break our parents took my brother and me on our first cruise. I was 12 years old.

  • Dancing Queen

    I started dancing at the age of 13 at Major School of Dance, Inc.

  • HS Graduation

    HS Graduation
    I graduated from Coal City High School in May of 2001. That fall I started college at Illinois State University.

  • Bachelor's Degree

    In December of 2005, I received a bachelor's degree in elementary education from Illinois State University.

  • Teaching

    I started teaching 7th grade language arts, reading, and social studies at Coal City Middle School in August of 2007.

    Bought my first dog: a dalmatian named CJ!

  • Wedding Day

    John and I were married at St. Raymond's Cathedral in Joliet on Saturday, June 25th, 2011.

    I received a master's degree in teaching and learning from the University of St. Francis.
