On Mother's Day, I was riding my bicycle down the driveway and I was hit by a car. They say I flew about 15 feet! I broke my leg in two places and cracked my skull. I was in the Intensive Care Unit at Maryview Hospital for about 3 weeks and in the hospital for a total of about 2 months. -

This is probably one of the most vivid memories of my life. I remember waking up to the news that we were under attack. I was very confused. We watched the news all day on tv and then we watched the towers fall. It was a very sad day. -
