    3: The Germans eventually took over Sudetenland and they were now under occupation of Germany. Many people who opposed them in Sudetenland were killed on spot.4: I chose this picture because it shows the cruelty they went through.

    1: The Nazis invaded the Sudetenland because they believed it never should have been taken from them after the war. All of the Germans in that area believed so too and it was a common belief.2: the main reason why this happened was because the Germans believed this land should still belong to them and they wanted to take it back. It was taken from them in the first place as reparations from world war one.

    1: The Nazis and the Russians meet and decide to sign a treaty to say that they aren’t going to fight anymore. In the agreement it said that they would not attack each other anymore.2: This event took place because the Germans and the Russians didn’t want to lose their men on front wars without reason.

    3: Because this event took place the Germans and Russians lost less men. They didn’t fight so they could focus more on the other nations attacking.4: I chose this picture because it shows both sides agreeing and smiling about signing the pact.

    1: On September 1st 1939 Germany invaded Poland. Germany was attempting to get their land back from the reparations of WWI.2: This event took place because of the land that Germany lost when they lost the war.3: After the Germans took over the polish land, there was a pact signed that if the Germans attacked the polish again then the soviets could not intervene.4: I chose this picture because it shows the means of transportation they used during wars.

    1: In this event Germany didn’t want a long war. They used a tactic to defeat Poland and Denmark; it was a tactic of a long narrow offensive line of war machines (tanks, artillery, or planes) and sent the other side backwards.2: The blitzkrieg tactic was used to shorten wars. Germany used it because it was effective and quick.3: The blitzkrieg resulted in shorter wars and Germany winning many battles.4: I chose this picture because it shows how the tanks cleaned up what the planes missed.

    1: This event was mainly an air battle between Germany and Britain, and Germany kept bombing them but the Britain’s took it and won the battle causing the Germans to have to postpone their sea attack.2: This event took place because Britain was the last enemy of Germany that wasn’t defeated, so they wanted to defeat them.

    3: The Britain’s held out long enough for the United States to come help them causing the Germans not to defeat Britain.4: I chose this picture because in this war it was mainly an aerial fight.

    3: This caused another win for Germany and the soviets to lose some property. Germany conquered them and didn’t stop until they did it the most damage.4: I chose this picture because it is directly from the event. These are German soldiers walking to the frontlines.

    1: Germany invaded the Soviet Union and kept driving them back but then the soviets came back and almost had them down. Eventually Germany defeated the Soviet Union but it was a year after they started.2: This event happened because Hitler always saw they Ribbentrop/Molotov pact as a way to defeat them and so he did what he wanted to do.

    1: In 1941 the Japanese launched a surprise attack on the U.S. And there were many reports of missing aircrafts.2: they had many bomb sites set up the U.S got out of the war, then the depression, and then finally this event happened.3: The United States lost many aircrafts and some of their equipment was destroyed due to the bombing.4: I chose this picture because this is the aftermath of the Japanese bombing the United States.

    1: In this event 15 Nazi officials gathered for a meeting and discussed the Jewish issue.2: This event happened because they needed a plan if they wanted to succeed in exterminating the Jews.3: This event caused the Nazis to better understand their plan and many Jews had perished because of it.4: I chose this picture because this is all of the people that had attended the conference.

    1: In this event the soviets beat the Germans. There were over 2,000,000 deaths.2: This event started when the Germans invaded them.3: This event caused most of the city to be rubble and the Germans surrendered.4: I chose this picture because it shows what the city looked like after.

    1: The British and the U.S invaded North Africa and defeated the Germans.2: This event happened so the Germans would at least slow down their attacks on their enemies.3: this event caused the Germans to slow their attacks down and they stopped attacking Africa.4: I chose this picture because it shows the Africans helped fight for their country.

    1: In this event the British bombed the Germans. They killed over 1500 German civilians in this bombing.2: This event happened because the Germans bombed British civilians in July of the same year and the British got payback.3: The causes of this event were that the Germans lost 30,000 people and over 280,000 buildings were destroyed.4: I chose this picture because it shows some of the buildings that were destroyed.

    1: June 6, 1944, 160,000 Allied troops landed along a 50-mile stretch of heavily-fortified French coastline to fight Nazi Germany on the beaches of Normandy, France.2: Allies invaded France from the sea to push the Germans out of western Europe while the Soviets pushed westward, to end World War Two and end Nazi dictatorship.

    1: In this event allies were coming upon the camps but the Germans tried to hide their mass murdering, but it didn’t work out.2: This event happened because the mass murders weren’t legal and they didn’t know that the Germans were doing that.

    1: The allied troops were struggling in this battle against the Germans, but when reinforcements came their advance through our lines became smaller and smaller until we won.2: this event happened because the Germans were still attempting to fully destroy its enemies and they invaded Bulge.

    This event was mainly the ending of World War 2. The Germans were done getting defeated and we with our allies won the war. The American people saw it in different ways some took a day of silence, some partied, but some people were too bust to care. 4: i chose this picture because this is my cousin who is a lot older than me but was alive when this event happened
