Depression for movies
This was a bad time for movies, or studios at all. Numbers going down extremely low in the box office. One of the movies that did okay however, was "The Phantom of the Opera. -

During this time in 1926, over 400 feature films were made. Also with a cost of $120million. meanwhile having over 14,600 movie theatres in the U.S. -
Clara Bow
This was a time for Clara Bow. She had during this time made a movie called "it". This movie was a big hit for her, and was immediatley dubbed afterwards. -
A Nice Upgrade
Studios realized what the audience really wanted. people wanted more music and commentary in there movies. this it what brought the studios back on top. -
Stick with It
The film industries decided that they would stick with the idea of having more commentary and music in their movies. Studios began to immediatley hire new actors for their new movies. Producing one of their better movies titled "The Cocoanuts". -

The Immortal Garbo talks. Being one of the better silent screen films. Had a good sucess in talking pictures
