The Neolithic Revolution is the starting point for the advancement of mankind. Without this revolution, humanity could never be as advanced as it is today. The Neolithic Revolution is the time period when people began to cultivate the land and domesticate animals. This happened because of the humans innate ability to communicate and rationalize. They figured out ways that made getting food easier. Because of this we can now support a much larger population than we ever could before. -

This period was the starting point for modern day art and culture. The basis for many studies came from this period. The Renaissance is the rebirth of culture after the Dark Ages. It happened out of both necessity and the hearts of artists of the period. Without the renaissance, there would be no books, music, art, or many of the subjects we have in school today. -
Industrial Revolution Begins
This event is the reason we have the modern inventions of today's world, such as cars. The industrial revolution is a time when machine usage boomed to help create things more efficiently and effectively. It brought upon some of the most radical changes in the world at the time. It happened because factory owners wanted to be able to make a lot more money a lot faster. Without this revolution, there would be no cars, no microwaves, or many of the other appliances we take for granted each day. -
Britain Colonizes Africa
Imperialism is one of the main factors that shapes how our world looks today, and Britain started it all. Britain sailed to the coasts of Africa, and set up colonies. They did this so that they could get cheap labor and a lot more profit, as well as some extra military force. The first colonizing of Africa led to a race for the leading countries to get as much land for themselves as possible, which led to those lands revolting and forming into the countries that we know today. -
World War 1 Begins
WW1 is arguably one of the worst wars of all time, and the precursor to WW2, another war worse than this. The world was split between two sides, fighting in a long series of battles. It happened because of the assassination of an Archduke. This caused war between two countries, which brought in other countries into it, until the entire world was at war. WW1 scarred the world and sparked WW2, as well as brought the invention of many devices used to kill many people in a quick, effective manner.
