Vienna circle's logic positivism
The Vienna circle was known for creating the idea of logic positivism. Logic positivism ,also called Logic empiricism, was a new way of thinking about philosophy. It relies very heavily on verification to make philosophy scientific. For instance, if a question can not be proven wrong then it is not a valid question. In the 1930's Schlick had just started to deepen his intellectual mind as he started gaining in popularity and was able to speak to many intellectuals. He taught lectures in London, Stanford, and other universities. -
Schlick was killed
Schlick was assassinated by a Nazi in 06/22/1936. After his death, Schlick was known as the father of logic positivism. -
