Chinese control began in 1691, but the fall of the Manchu Dynasty lead to a new era for the Mongols. The new ruler was the Living Buddha of Urga. -

After Japan surrendered to the U.S., World War Two was over. Japan also returned all of China's territories that the country had colonized, which included Taiwan. -
