Boarding Boat

Arrive at Ellis Island
I was detained at Ellis Isalnd for one night, but my sister got to leave. They thought that I had lice, but I just had really bad dandriff -
Housing
After a night on the streets, I found a lovely lady who is letting me stay in her house for free. She is so nice and kind and I don't know how to repay her. I haven't found my siser yet and to be honest, I don't know if I ever will. -
Train
After about a month of living with the kind lady, she kicked me out because she was tired of letting me live at her house for free. She told me that I either had to pay her rent or leave.I have little money since I started working at the factory, so I couldn't afford rent and I had to leave so I decided to catch a train to Oklahoma. The train wasn't very comfortable and it was very bumpy, but I'm not in the position to critisize. I need to be greatful that I have may be able to get land. -
Horse Sale
I finally got to Oklahoma. I'm a little nervous about the race i couple days. There are thousands of other people here that are going to be in the big race. I must have been mistaken because I thought it was a running race. So I go to the horse farm and walk up to the owner and she turns around and it's my sister! I found her! I didn't have any money so asked her if she would let me have the horse for free and she said no becasue I don't have enough money so now I'm horseless. -
The Race for Land
Since I didn't have a horse, I had a very small chance to win the land. I found a horse with a man on it and a wagon carrying all of his belonings. The horse was extermely fast and in the lead. I ran up to the wagon and jumped in.It felt like the horse was getting faster and faster. I look outside and the horse is almost at the land. All of a sudden I hear a thud and feel a thud. The horse has tripped and the man on the horse is unconcious. I still had a chance. I ran and ran and I got the land! -
Farming
Now I'm using the land to grow crops. I have other farmers helping me out; My farm is very successful and I grow crops for people all over Oklahoma. I am making a lot of money and I am living my dream here in Oklahoma.
