Brooke was born
Brooke being born was before my mother's birth but i just wanted to put this in here because they are super close. Not in age but in relationship to one another. Kendra was born seven years later. -
Kendra is born
Kendra Thais Burton being born was the start of this whole thing. She was the second to be born in the family. Her older sister Brooke was born seven years before her. This was the beginning of her life. -
First day of School
Kendra is four years old but was turning five the next month. She started kindergarten when she was four. She never went to preschool because back then there was no point of it. -
First Bike
Kendra got her first bike on her birthday when she was turning seven. It was a very big thing back then to get a bike. It was much like getting a car or a cell phone now adays. -
Freshman year at Leigh High School
Kendra is now a freshman at Leigh High School. It was a new start from going from middle school to high school. She is 14 years old. -
Bowton Twirling in High School
This was my mothers sophomore year of high school. She loved to twirl the bowton. That was her sport. She was in many parades and did it around the house to practice when needed. -
Meeting Joe for the first time
Neal Collins was friends with both Joe and Kendra and introdced Joe and Kendra. It was the first time they had ever seen eachother. They didnt go to the same school. -
Joe and Kendra Started Dating
Joe and Kedra started dating three days later. Some people may think it was to soon but they made it last. Kendra was 16 and Joe was 17. -
Kendra got her license
When Kendra got her license it was a month before her 18th birthday. Many people didnt get their license till late back then. Mostly because they didnt need it. -
Kendra was Baptized, had First Communion, and was Confirmed
Kendra was baptized, had first communion and was confirmed all in the same day. this was because when she married my dad she had to do all this so get married in the church. She also felt that, that was what she believed in. -
Joe and Kendra got married
Joe and Kendra getting married was the first marrage in Joey's family but the second in Kendra's family. Kendra had an amazing, beautiful dress. It had a large train, and long sleeves. -
Jeff & Vani's Wedding
Kendra was a brides maid in her brother and sister in laws wedding. Joe's brother was getting marry but Joe is older than Jeff so Joe and Kendra were already married. -
Megan's Born
Joe and Kendra's first child was born. It was their first chil and their first girl. Megan Elizebeth Aboud. -
First teaching job
Kendra had a month between finshing college and starting her first teaching job. Before finishing college she was already married and had her first child with Joe, Megan. This was her first real teachign job. This means that all the others before it she was just volanteering. -
Kendra's Mother Died
Kendra's Mother died when my she had already had Megan and was still pregnant with Joey. Therefore, the only child of Joe and Kendra's would be Megan. My mom was 29 when she died. -
Joey's Born
Joe and Kendra's second child was born. It was their first and only boy. Out of the four children they are soon to have, they only had boy. -
Kiley's Born
Kiley was Joe and Kendra's third child. Out of all the four child Kiley was the only red hair. All the rest of their chilren were blonde. -
Ainsley's Born
Ainsley was the youngest of the four children that Joe and Kenrda had. She was also the last. Ainsley had a really dark head of hair and looked nothing like the rest of the kids. -
Favorite summer trip
My mother's favorite summer trip was when her four kids and her husband all went to New York City. She loved it because she had her kids and wonderful husband also it was outside of the state. She got to meet new people while she was there. -
New Cabin
Kendra had been going to the lake since she was one month old. After she got married and had kids that is when our family wanted to get a cabin up there. The cabin is in Lake Almanor. It is 300 miles away from Los Gatos and 4.5 hours in the car. its a long drive but it's worth the trip.
