    Philo Fansworth and Vladamir Zworykin created vital tv sets. Fansworth made the fully electronic tv, and on the other hand Zworkyin created a kinescope that related to tv too.

    David Sarnoff, the president at the time of RCA(Radio Corporation of America) created the first commercial on the new and improved television. This led to televisions being sold at a rapid pace down the line and was a pivotal moment in the timeline. Ads became way more common following this moment in history as well.

    TV Coverage of the Bombing of Pearl Harbor
    This event was pivotal, not only for USA and entering World War 2, but it shaped the TV and reporting world moving forward. There were very few TV stations and radio stations at the time, WBNT was the main source of coverage. They discussed the attacks at Pearl Harbor and broadcasted information to people living in New York. While it was to a small amount of people, it sparked the fact that tv and broadcasting is super important and needs to be a common thing across the world. Key event here

    New radio rules were enforced and CBS was one huge company that adopted the rules. There were 8 new rules added to help companies grow in the tv industry. The FCC was pivotal because while many didn't even see the rules as they were hidden in documents, they changed the game in the tv industry and enforced strict rules.

    Color Television is created
    The CT-100, the first colored television was created and introduced by the RCA. It was introduced at the Tournament of Roses Parade in California in 1954. Although it wasn't profitable until a couple of years later, it sparked a new form of television that wasn't black and white. By the early 1970's people around the world were finally getting color television's.

    Scandals relating to Popular TV shows
    Game shows were the hot topic, everyone would sit down on their couch and tune into different game show.The $64,000 question(the most popular show at the time)was reported for rigging and cheating behind the scenes. The show company did this to try and bring up show ratings and bring as many eyes as possible to the show. Not only did this lead to the downfall to their company and gameshow, but Americans around the world doubted if they could trust what's on tv. A pivotal moment to say the least
