On March 20, 1981 two members of the KKK "randomly" selected Michael Donald to be lynched in Mobile, Alabama. His throat was slit, beaten and hung. The United Klans of America were hit with a 17 million dollar lawsuit and were bankruped because of it. The incident served as a springboard for other legal cases against racist groups across America. -

On December 7 1981 James von Brunn attempted to kidnap members of the Federal Reserve in reatliation for the "trecherous and unconstitutional" acts of the Federal Reserve. This attack killed one person officer Stephen Tyronne Johns. -

Nidal Malik Hasan who was a U.s. Army Mahor and a jihadist orchestrated the mass murder of 13 people while injuring at least 30 more. This happened in Fort Hood in Texas. He has been linked with the Soldiers of Allah and so some believe that this attack might have been religiously motivated though there are other theories. -
Boston Marathon Bombings
Two bombs exploded during the Boston marathons killing three on the scene and injuring an estimated 264 more people on scene. Shortly after that the suspects supposedly shot and killed and MIt police officer while he sat in his car and began a manhunt to find both suspects. One was killed during a firefight with the police and the other escaped thought wounded. He was later found in the backyard of a Watertown resident and was later charged with his crimes.
