Ronald Reagan
Ronald Reagan was the former governor of California up until he was elected President in 1980. Because he was a conservative he believed that the federal government have a smaller role in the life of Americans. With this he created Reaganomics which was also known as Trickle Down Economics which was to benefit the wealthier Americans and penalizing the poor Americans. -
9/11
On September 11th 2001 terrorist attacks were acted upon America. These series of coordinated attacks were organized by Al-Qaeda. Airplane hijackers intentionally crashed two airplanes into the World Trade Center in New York City, meanwhile another one crashed into the Pentagon. The fourth airplane crashed into a field near Shanksville Pennsylvania. -
Obama Presidency
The presidential election of 2008 made history when the first person of color was elected the 44th president of the United States. His platform was centered around the message “Hope and Change”. He created the successful health care reform Obamacare during his presidency. Adding on to his legendary presidency, he also is remembered for the elimination of Osama Bin Laden as the prime target of the War on Terror after the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
