Dalton's Atomic Model
John Dalton was an english chemsit who was born at Eaglfied in 1766. His representation of the atom is a tiny ball. He beleived that all atoms are similar and different elements have atoms of different masses. -
Thomson Model
J.J.Thomson's model described the atom with electrons scattered through it. -
Nagaoka Model
Hantaro Nagaoka's model described the atom as though it were planets orbiting around the sun. -
Rutherford Model
Ernest Rutherford's model said explains the atom as electrons orbiting around a central nucleus. -
Bohr Model
Niels Bohr's model describes the atom as if it were an onion. The electrons travel in specific layers. -
Period: to
Present Day
Electrons form a a negatively charged cloud around the nucleus. -
Chadwick Model
James Chadwick discovered the neutron wich explained why atoms were heaver than their protons and electrons.
