Datlton Model
A brtish chemiost named John Dalton thought that each element was made of atoms that are the same. -
Thomson Model
J.J. Thompson's model suggested that an atom was ball shaped and positively charged with electrons in it. -
Nagaoka Model
A japanese physicist named Hantaro Nagaoka thought of a model that has a ball in the center with a positive charge and electrons revolved around it. -
Rutherford Model
Ernest Rutherford stated that the atom is mostly an empty space with electrons orbiting randomly around a pisitively charhed nucleus. -
Bohr Model
Niels Bohr concluded a model that showed electrons moving in layers that absorb or give off energy when the electrons move through different layers. -
Chadwick Model
James Chadwick discovered the neutron wich explained why atoms were heavier than the total mass of thier protons and electrons. -
The Present Modern Model
Electrons create a negatively charged cloud around around the nucleus and it is impossible to know exactly where an electron is at any time.
