San Francisco de los Tejas was the first mission in east Texas. -

San Juan Bautista was built less than 5 miles from the Rio Grande. -
The Alamo
The Alamo (also known as San Antonio) was built on May 1st 1718 -
San Jose
There were 2 parts to the San Jose mission. one was on the east side of the San Antonio river and one was on the west side. -
San Juan Capistrano
Originally named San Juan Nazonis, but changed names when it was relocated to San Antonio in 1731. -
Santa Cruz de San Saba
Mission Santa Cruz de San Saba was the first mission that the Franciscians fought with the Comanche. -
Socorro
Otherwise known as La Parisima. In 1980 and 2004 Soccoro had some renovations. -
Ysleta Name Change
In 1881 Ysleta changed it's name to Our Lady of Mount Carmel.
