Joy Laverne (age 22) and Hazel married and made the decision to spend the rest of their lives together. On February 15, 1957, Joy and Hazel became parents their second beautiful baby girl. They raised their family on farm values and love. Joy passes away surrounded by family.
Joy Lavern (age 86) died surrounded by his daughters and grand children. Joy knew he was a hard working farmer for over 40 years and provided for his wife, kids and grand children. He had no regrets and had spiritually joined his wife Hazel to rest. In Erickson's 8th stage (ego/integrity vs despair) it is whether or not one excepts his life despite it's flaws or wishes things could have been different.
