    They Japanese company Sharp released the first camera phone, the J-SH04, in the year 2000. This invention was the first that allowed photos to be taken and sent using the mobile device. This invention helped to revolutionize the mobile phone market because soon enough, every mobile phone had a camera. We have come a long way from this 110,000 pixel camera.
  • IPod

    IPod
    The original ipod was released in 2001. This invention revolutionized the way people listen to music. I remember carrying around a book of CDs when I was a kid because I loved music. The iPod came out and you could have all of your music in the palm of your hand, it was amazing. Without the iPod, I don't know if the iPhone would be possible or any other portable technology. Great invention.
  • Macbook Pro

    Macbook Pro
    Apple released the Macbook Pro in 2006. This introduction of a super fast and lightweight laptop changed what portable computers could be. Previously, laptops were heavy and bulky. The Macbook Pro included a webcam and was much faster than the completing laptops on the market at the time. Now, it seems like Macbooks are the most popular laptop in the market.

    The Wii was a home video game console created by Nintendo in 2006. The wireless technology that tracked movement was revolutionary at the time. Other video game consoles at the time seemed to be marketed to an older user and the Wii was more family friendly so it became the best selling video game console in 2007.

    Iphone
    Apple invented the iPhone in 2007 and I remember being one of the only people at my school to have one. I have all been into technology and I appreciate my parents indulging my tech-obsessed tendencies. the iPhone was revolutionary. You had the internet in the palm of your hand, at all times. I loved that phone and continue to use iPhones 15 years later.
