    The Magyars lived there and they could talk in Hungarian and it was proven by Friar Julianus in the 13th century. Magyars learnt new ways of life it was reflected by new words (e.g.: agricultural words). They created 7 tribes.

    Due to overpopulation the majority of Magyars went to Levédia in the 8th century. The Khazars lived there and they accepted the Magyars but Magyars had to pay taxes. Magyars organized dual principality based on the Khazar model.

    Etelköz was between lot of rivers. Magyars lived here in the 9th century. According to legend, the blood oath took place here. Álmos or his son, Árpád was elected to Grand Prince of the 7 tribes
