    Windows 2.0 was released on December 9, 1987 ans was more popular than 1.0. Windows 2.0 came with Excel and Word for Windows.

    SourceMicrosoft announced Windows 3.0. Shortly after, they announced Windows 3.1 in 1992. Program Manager, File Manager and Pring Manager were new additions in windows 3.0. Together, they sold 10 million copies.

    Windows xp was released on October 25, 2001. It was designed for ease and stability. Windows xp was available in 25 languages and became one of Microsoft's best selling products. Many consumers and businesses still continue to use Windows xp today.
