Michelle's Nursing Journey Timeline By mharris7 1989 Finshed high school- No idea what to do with life! 1990 Palomar college- General Ed 1991 Best friend was going to LVN school- so that sounded like a good ldea 1993 Graduated LVN School 1993 Went straight to work at Inland Valley Hospital Period: 1993 to 2024 Michelle's Nursing Journey Timeline Jun 3, 1995 Got Married 1995 1997 Went back to school for RN Jul 22, 1997 Had beautful baby boy 1999 Went to work as RN- Outpatient plastic surgery Jun 22, 1999 Completed RN program - passed boards 2002 Went to work Golden Triangle Surgery Center 2004 Said I would never to GI nursing- but I did and have ever since! Feb 14, 2005 Started work with United Surgery Center as pre op RN 2009 Promoted to Director of Nursing at United Surgery Center-Murrieta 2013 Started build of 2nd surgery center- assisted with this process 2015 Director of Nursing for 2 locations- Temecula and Murrieta 2017 Promoted to Clinical Director overseeing 4 locations 2017 Mar 11, 2018 Mom passed away 2019 Opened and accredited a new location- Encinitas 2022 Acquired Riverside-Brockton location Apr 18, 2022 Added New location- opened and accredited Newport Beach Jul 1, 2022 Hubby retired after 30 years with the Fire Dept!! Oct 20, 2022 Acquired new location-Mission Viejo May 19, 2023 Son got married- I have a daugter now!! Jul 1, 2023 Began BSN program 2024 In process of opening Carlsbad location May 24, 2024 Currently overseeing 9 centers Jun 17, 2024 Future plans- vacation Jun 30, 2024 Complete BSN program 2025 Future centers- 4 in the works!
