Michelle got her first hair cut when she was one year old. She went to the same haircut place as her older brother, Daryl. She was born with hair, so by one there was quite alot of hair to cut. -

Michelle participated in her first races at the age of two. She decided to do it with her cousin Debbie Fox. She made it to the starting line, but wouldn't run the race. They gave her the participation award, a doll, anyway. -
Michelle's first big move
Michelle moved from her town house to her family's first home of their own. The new house was on Grantham Street in Cambridge. She was excited to have a room just for her. -
Michelle gets her first bike
Michelle's first bike was a bright blue tricycle so that she could ride around with her older brother, Daryl. -
Michelle starts "volunteer hours"
At age five Michelle started to work "volunteer hours" at her grandmother's ceramic store. Her duties were to sweep the floors, shred paper, and keep her grandfather company. -
Michelle's first figureskating show
Michelle figureskated in her first show when she was six years old. She wore a butterfly costume made by her grandmother, and white skates. -
Michelle's baby sister was born
When Michelle was seven years old her baby sister, Jennifer Marie, was born. She is now 35, and lives in Victoria, British Columbia. -
Michelle got chickenpox
When Michelle was eight years old she got the chickenpox from her baby sister, Jennifer Marie. She had to stay home for two weeks. -
Michelle walks to school alone
When Michelle started fourth grade she had to walk to school alone. They didn't have buses for her district, and her brother had just started junior high. Up until then her brother had walked with her. -
Michelle won her first trophy
When Michelle was 10 years old she won her first trophy in a tennis tournament. Later on she kept the plaques that had been off of the trophies, but donated the trophies themselves to Special Olympics. -
Michelle's worst hair cut
When Michelle was eleven years old she received her worst hair cut. Her hair was cut short in the front and on the sides, but very long in the back. It was done by a family friend. -
Michelle's first dance
Michelle went to her first dance in 7th grade. She went with Billy Medes who was in quite a few of her classes. -
Michelle's first job
Michelle's first job was when she turned 13. She worked with her dad teaching tennis to young children at the club they owned. Her payment was five dollars a hour. -
Michelle's last time she wore ribbons
Michelle stopped wearing hair ribbons when she turned fourteen. Her favorite ribbon to wear was her silky white one that matched everything. -
Michelle's 16th birthday
For Michelle's 16th birthday she received a bike instead of a car. The bike was bright blue, and had 10 speeds. -
Michelle left for college
Michelle left for college when she was eighteen years old. She went to ISU on a full ride tennis scholarship. She went on to play number one for the ISU redbirds tennis team. -
Michelle meets her husband
Michelle met her husband at Illinois State University. His name is Andrew, and he is from Chicago, Illinois. -
Michelle's wedding
Michelle Greenan became Michelle Spirrison on May, 25 1996 when she married Andrew Spirrison. The wedding took place in Darien, Illinois. After their marriage they moved to Tampa, Florida. Her favorite thing to do in Florida was to spend weekends at Cedar Key. -
Michelle's first child
Michelle's first child was a daughter named Ashley Nicole Spirrison. She was born in Tampa, Florida. She was the first granddaughter born in her family. -
Michelle's son is born
Michelle's son Andrew Alexander Spirrison was born in Noblesville, Indiana. He was named after his father. He was also born the day after the Fourth of July.
