she started to experience racism at birth when the doctor injured her scalp because he was not carful because she was black -

she didnt get the learning opportunity's she wanted because of her skin color
because the U.S was so racist the colored community did not get payed enough so there kids could not get the supply's they needed to learn -
brown v board happened
and they made segregation illegal but they had to ease into it so they chose 9 kids of color to go to a former all white school -
she get TNT thrown at her
just because she was a person of color/ a major hate crime and the person that did it never got caught or delt with so if you kill or hurt a black person you don't get punished -
she wasn't allowed in the school by the students
they made a barricaded so she couldnt get in and the mayor of the town just let it happen and the mayor of the town did do anything when he should have so it proves that even the mayor of the town was racist -
melba goes to court
gets called the n word by men and women in the court i think this is important because it proves that men and women can be racist and it doesn't matter where she is melba would always experience it -
101st airborne comes to little rock
the president of the USA send the 101st airborne units to protect melba and her friends but they can not do anything if a kid starts a fight or throws something at them -
melba get's acid thrown in her face
a kid get acid and throws it on her making her lose vision and having to go wash it off in the bathroom -
she moved to California
she moved and the racism got better so this is where i will end the time line
