    The Battle of Hastings was against William the conqueror and Harold Godwinson. They were both fighting for the spot of King of England. William the Conqueror defeated Harold and his foot soldiers. William brought feudalism to England.

    Magna Carta
    King John of England raised taxes and punished people without trial. Nobeles met with KIng John at Runnymede and forced John to sign a document, the Magna Carta. The Magna Carta took some of the kings powers. He could no longer collect taxes and punish people without a trial.

    Church leaders Jews as activley as they persucuted heretics. Europeans hated Jews for not becoming Christian. People blamed Jews for other people's problems. Hatred for Jews is known as anti-Semitism. European rulers began driving out Jews.
