People would use cameras to communicate with distant people. Video call's are the same as calling but has the capacity to communicate with others visually.

    Facebook is a website which allows users, who sign-up for free profiles, to connect with friends, work colleagues or people they don't know, online. It allows users to share pictures, music, videos, and articles, as well as their own thoughts and opinions with however many people they like. Facebook has been here in all my life, and it has been a great experience.

    Gmail is a free email service developed by Google. Users can access Gmail on the web and using third-party programs that synchronize email content through POP or IMAP protocols. Growing up Gmail has been the preferred email service of my family and has been a huge part of my life thus far.

    YouTube is a video sharing service that allows users to watch videos posted by other users and upload videos of their own. YouTube has always been significant in my life, as almost everyday I watch videos online for entertainment.

    Twitter is a social media site, and its primary purpose is to connect people and allow people to share their thoughts with a big audience. Twitter has always been at use since 2006, albeit it only rose to mainstream media during 2010 onwards. Personally I have only used Twitter during 2018.

    Vine was an American social networking short-form video hosting service where users could share six or seven second-long, looping video clips. Personally, Vine has been a huge part of my life during the 2013-2015 days, as I have always anticipated new funny videos everyday, and it was such a shame when I learned about it's demise.
