    This timeline represents the span of my exposure to various kinds of media through the use of technology from Traditional to New Media.
  • Television (TV)

    *Television- a device that receives television signals and reproduces them on a screen. This embarks my first ascent into the world of television as I watch my very first show with my very own eyes. "This is where I first watched television and discovered the joy of entertainment from cartoons and anime"
  • Radio

    Radio
    Radio- an apparatus for receiving radio programs. This entails my first time hearing music and news through a radio. "This is where I heard news and music on the radio for the first time"
  • Cassette tapes

    The Compact Audio Cassette or Musicassette, also commonly called the cassette tape or simply tape or cassette, is an analog magnetic tape recording format for audio recording and playback.
  • Cassette Player

    A cassette player is a machine that is used for playing cassettes and sometimes also recording them.
  • Speakers/Loudspeaker

    Speakers/Loudspeaker
    Speakers/Loudspeakers - are one of the most common output devices used with computer systems. "This is where I first heard music with my Father through his speakers"
  • DVD Player

    A DVD player is a device that plays DVD discs produced under both the DVD-Video and DVD-Audio technical standards. DVD players are connected to a television to watch the DVD content, which could be a movie, a recorded TV show, or other content.
  • CDs/DVDs

    Short for digital versatile disc or digital video disc, a DVD or DVD-ROM is a disc capable of storing large amounts of data on one disc the size of a standard Compact Disc. They are widely used for storing and viewing movies and other data.
  • Computers

    A computer is a machine or device that performs processes, calculations and operations based on instructions provided by a software or hardware program. It is designed to execute applications and provides a variety of solutions by combining integrated hardware and software components.
  • Playstation

    PlayStation is a brand of a series of game consoles created and developed by Sony Computer Entertainment. The brand consists of three consoles, a handheld console, a media center, an online service and a line of magazines.
  • Arcade Machines

    An arcade machine or coin-op is a coin-operated entertainment machine typically installed in public businesses such as restaurants, malls, and amusement arcades. Arcade games are usually video games, pinball machines or electromechanical games.

    Facebook is defined as an online social networking website where people can create profiles, share information such as photos and quotes about themselves, and respond or link to the information posted by others.

    YouTube is a video sharing service that allows users to watch videos posted by other users and upload videos of their own.
  • PSP (Playstation Portable)

    The PlayStation Portable (PSP) is a handheld game console manufactured and marketed by Sony Computer Entertainment.
  • Mobile Phone

    A mobile phone is a wireless handheld device that allows users to make and receive calls and to send text messages, among other features.
  • Laptop

    A laptop computer is a portable personal computer powered by a battery, or an AC cord plugged into an electrical outlet, which is also used to charge the battery.
  • Smart Phone

    A smartphone is a mobile phone with highly advanced features. A typical smartphone has a high-resolution touch screen display, WiFi connectivity, Web browsing capabilities, and the ability to accept sophisticated applications.
  • VR (Virtual Reality)

    Virtual reality is an artificial environment that is created with software and presented to the user in such a way that the user suspends belief and accepts it as a real environment.

    Bluetooth speaker is an amplifier and loudspeaker with Bluetooth wireless connectivity that is paired with one or more smartphones, tablets, iPods or computers.
