Dalton'sTheory
Dalton represented atoms as tiny indivisible, indestructible particles or spheres -
Thomson Theory of Atom Model
Thomson proposed the plum model. In his model the atom is composed of electrons which Thomson still called corpuscles. -
Rutherford's Model
Rutherford described the atom as a tiny dense positively charged core called a nucleus which contained all the mass. Electrons circulated around it much like the planets revolve around the sun. -
Bohr's Theory
Depic's atom as a small positively charged nucleus surrounded by electrons that travel in circular orbit around he nucleus similar to the soar system but with attraction provided by a negative charge. -
Quantum Model
The Quantum Model is used by modern physicists today. To describe electrons they use quantum numbers to describe their position.
