Iron man: the birth of the MCU
This movie was the start of the mcu(Marvel Cinematic Universe) and also started phase one. It has also been called Avengers Assembled. Phase one in the MCU is pretty much summed up as the coming together of the avengers and like the birth of the avengers. Phase one films give the origin of the key avengers including Iron man, Hulk, Captain America, and Thor, the final film in the phase one stage is Avengers From 2008 to 2012, the Phase One films grossed $3.8 billion -
The incredible Hulk
About a month after the release of Iron man, the next movie from phase one comes out. believe it or not, The incredible Hulk actually is MCU canon. Though it does not star todays MCU Hulk, marvel studios have confirmed its canon to the current MCU. But todays MCU movies don't have much from that movie to come off of, most of these phase one movies are mainly origins anyways. -
Iron man 2
Flash Forward 2 years, still no other hero movies other than iron man and hulk, Iron man 2 is released. This is really the movie that reveals that marvel has plans in the future with there heroes and the continuation of the stories. iron man 2 was a good follow up to the original iron man, although its in phase one and isn't an origin story (this is why i said most of them are origin stories). This movie has only 1 MCU moment, in the end when nick fury appears and asks Tony about the avengers. -
Thor
1 more year passes and the next installment of the MCU is brought into the spotlight. Thor is the next movie to come from the MCU collection. This movie is also really just an origin story kind of sort of, Its an origin of how the MCU came to be in my mind, The main villain is loki which most of you know is also the main villain in avengers. And he kinda form his plan for the avengers in this movie. -
Captain America: The first avenger
The next MCU movie, ironically one of the last ones in phase one is the leader of the avengers himself, Captain america. This movie is like thor, an origin story and has something to do with the future of the MCU. The villain of this movie, The Red skull, finds the tesseract which plays a major key roll in avengers and throughout all of the MCU. The tesseract is cube which has been told to power lokis staff (which it doesn't) and later on in the MCU it is revealed to be the space stone. -
The avengers: the end of phase one
The avengers is when all of the previous movies tie in to eachother and the story becomes solved. Loki is trying to take over midguard (earth) and the avengers want to stop him. He almost succeeds until iron man launches a missle into lokis armies dimension. But iron man does not come back the same, he comes back with fear and knowledge of a dark force that is coming. But tony never figures it out. little does he know tat that knowledge stays with him through the rest of the MCU. Beware Thanos -
From phase one to phase two
The transition from phase one of the MCU to phase two, where everyone finds problems in there own life and disagree with one another. But this isnt the end for the avengers quite yet -
Iron man 3: The beginning of phase 2

Thor the dark world really was the first MCU movie to hold things for the future, One of the enemys ships the aether, had the reality stone hidden inside it, its mainly just an original story though. -
Captain america winter soldier
About a year goes by and captain america starts working with shield as an agent and he tries to take down rogue agents. But shield thinks hes going against shield so he goes on the run until he meets a new enemy, the winter soldier and he finds out it is his best friend bucky from WWII. From then on Cap tries to take bucky back and get him back on his side -
Guardians of the galaxy
Guardians of the galaxy is pretty much another origin story, its the origin og the guardians and how they came to be. This holds a key moment for the rest of the MCU, The collector plays a part in infinity war for Thanos to get one of the infinity stones. -
Avengers age of ultron
Avengers age of ultron holds a part in the MCU as well. It actually causes Iron man and Captain america to split up due to the aftermath where sokovia (fake country) was lifted from the earth and the government is mad at the cost and blames the avengers for it. This story will be left on a cliffhanger until we reach Captain america civil war -
Ant Man
Ant man is the origin story of ant man (not the Hank Pym version, this version is the Scott Lang version) Where we find our new ant man figuring out how to balance being ant man and being scott lang, and he learns how to use his power suit while fighting his first foe, yellow jacket who is an evil ant man who can fly pretty much -
From phase two to phase three
this is the transition from phase two to phase three. Where its time to choose a side, Join Caps side, you are on the run from the law for whats right, Join Iron mans side, You are with the law and trying to unmask superheroes because its the law -
Captain america civil war
This is the big fight, this is what causes everything and everyone to fall out of place and choose the wrong side. a few new heroes are brought into the light like spiderman and black panther, that was a real game changer for fans, civil war is what really brought true friends in the MCU to turn on eachother. -
Doctor Strange
This is the origin of doctor strange, And tis origin holds a key part to the MCU. Doctor stranges source of power, the Eye of agamoto, is actually an infinity stone. From here on Doctor strange has a huge part to do with the MCU. -
Guardians of the galaxy Vol. 2
This is the sequal to the Guardians of the galaxy. This movie has much more to do wit te MCU unlike its prequal. This movie holds the secrets to what comes soon after. -
Spiderman homecoming
This is the movie that tells how spiderman was brought into the MCU by iron man. And what happens with spiderman after the civil war battle. -
Thor ragnarok
Thor ragnarok is where thor is during civil war. And also one of his big green friends, he is with hulk on a planet that is designed for war (planet hulk) while asguard is being attacked by thors sister hella. In this movie thor is so desperate he utilizes his brother Loki for help in this battle -
Black panther
The origin of black panther. And how black panther was brought into the MCU. Black panther deals with his own problem in this movie and is in danger of being replaced. This movie has some to do with the next movie because it showcases some new characters that will have an impact in the next movie, Infinity war! -
Avengers infinity war
Every MCU movie has led up to this. All of the battles, all of the warnings, all of the easter eggs, all of the stones are brought into the light for what they really are.
