This was when at a time people invested in the stock market because of the low prices and the ways they could invest their money. With using some of there money and borrowing the rest from bankers made it easier for them to invest. But when the market fell, bankers were calling in on the money they loaned out. People quickly sold their stock. In the end millions and billions of dollars were lost. This was considered one of the worst days ever that they came to call as Black Tuesday. -
Assassination of President John F. Kennedy
The next upcoming election was fast approaching. Determined to win the state of Texas, President Kennedy and his party along with his wife visited the state of Texas. While in Dallas, an assassination plot was underway and President Kennedy was shot and killed while touring downtown Dallas. His wife was at his side as this terribile event happened. He was shot in the neck and the back of the head. He was rushed to Parkland hospital but it was too late. The President was pronounced dead. -
