Maya and bailey more to the Stamps, Arkansas with their grandmother after their parents divorce.

Christmas

One christmas Bailey and Maya received gifts from their parents. They then realize their parents aren't dead.

Daddy Bailey

Bailey and Maya's dad goes to the Stamps unexpectedly and takes them to St.Louis to live with their birthmother.

Moving In

They move in with Mr.Freeman Vivian's boyfriend. Mr. Freeman rapes and molestes Maya and is then sent to jail, Where he is beaten to death.

Maya is Silent

She is quiet ecause she feels gilty for what happen to Mr.Freeman,

They move back.

Maya & Bailey move back. Then maya meets Ms.Flowers were she begins to talk because of " The Power of Human Voice".

After Eight Grade.

After eight grade maya moves with her mother again.

Gets a job and struggles hitting puberty. She then beomes pregnant with her first child.

Summer Vacation

Maya goes on vacation to visit her dad. She ends up in a car accident
