the frozen laed
Matt and peary and the crew was alble to cross the lead becuse it was frozen all the way throgh. -
Henson & Peary
Heson and peary were still waiting beside the lead and Peary fixed the compasses and Henson worked on the slegdes. -
The fearful lead
Heson & peary were at the lead it was big and fearful. -
Ross Marvin
It was Ross Marvins turn to go back home, there men had already returned as planned. -
the lead broke
Hensen & peary fnialy caught up with barttlet beside the lead and when they were sleeping mattew heard a grinding nose and saw that the ice broke between Hensen and Peary and brattlet and pearys igloos were floating away -
Captin Bob
At 87 46 degrees it was Captin Bobs turn to go back. They repared the slegdes and restared. -
Robert
Robert started out on foot and then he rode the slegd and called the moon and the sun silver and gold. -
The broken lead
Peary and Hensen came to a leadcovered with thin ice and runners broke through and fell in and he said it was hidous then they lift him up and he was safe. -
Robert & Peary
Robert and Peary stopped and had taken an oloservation of the sun. It showed they were at 89 25! Only 35 miles to go. -
Robert made it
Robert put a diagnial piece of the american flag and when Matt reached the Roosevelt safley and placed it in the ground to mark that the crew mad it to the North Pole. -
Over joyed
Matt reached the ship his friends were running up to him and they took him on the boat.Matt was over joyed to see that he was safe with friends.
