The Great Baltimore Fire
On the night of February 7,1904 a fire in a factory exploded through the building's roof before the fire department could arrive. The fire spread to different buildings. The Great Baltimore Fire destroyed 70 square blocks downtown. Only 10 downtown sturctures survived but only one person died.
