Mary Mcleod Betune was born on july 10, 1875 on a tiny farm at Maysville South Carolinea. -
school for Mary
Bethune couldn't go to school until 1885.Aschool opened for black children. So her parents decided to let her go. -
A school for black girls
She taught a school for black girls in a place called Daytona Beach, Florida. she soon got named after a college thats now named Bethune Cookmen College. -
National Afairs
Thedore Rosevelt invited her to National Youth Adminitration. Before that she had founded the National Counicil of negro women. -
Her Wonderful life
Mary died on May 18, 1995 although she had a wonderful life.
