Rosa Parks
Rosa Parks refused to give her seat up on the bus and started the bus boycott. She got aressted many times due to wanting a civil rights movement. Rosa Parks was helpful to the civil rights movement because many other blacks started to respond. -

A 15 year old refused to give up her bus seat due to pregnantcy. The only reason she did not go to jail is beccause the judge and police did not want to look bad. Her name was claudette colvin. She also helped start the bu boycott. -

I have a dream that my four little children will one day, live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of there skin, but by the content of their character. That is a dream said by a great man and leader. There is many dreams he said, that has been acomplished. -

The Civil rights movment occured in 1964. It happened because, of people like Rosa Parks, Martin Luther King jr., and Colette colvin. They are what we should call legends. -
The Nobel Peace Prize
Martin Luther KIng jr. was selected for the Nobel Peace prize. He was selected because of his bravery, honesty, and respect for others. He was a great leader will a great imagination. -
The March
The Civil Rights march went on from the 7th to the 9th. There was up to 2,500 people marching. It was so bad they called it bloody Sunday. -
Death
The death of the great Martin Luther King jr. was tragic. He was murdered by James Earl Ray on his balcony. They comfirmed that he was shot with a sniper rifle. He was sentenced to 99 years in prison. -
