My Birth
I was born on the 1st of August in Buenos Aires, the capital of Argentina.
It was a very sunny day and also very cold, because it was winter. -
My Baptism
After 4 months of being born I was baptized: I was now part of the Catholic Church.
After the Baptism my family and I went to celebrate. -
Mother's Day
In Argentina Mother's day is celebrated on the third Sunday of October. -
Christmas
To celebrate the Birth of Jesus we get together with our families.
We often spent Christmas in Carhue, a little town 500 km away from Buenos Aires, with all of my mother's family. -
Children's Day
The third Sunday in August. -
Father's Day
This celebration is on the same day as Singapore. -
New Year
We often celebrated New Year at my Grandpa's, because on that day it is also his birthday! -
Independence's Day
On the 9th July 1816, Argentina became independent from Spain. So on 9th July we celebrate all over the country, also at schools.
In 2010 I performed as a soldier in kindergarten! -
My Brother's Communion
That day was a very emotive day because all of my family got together to celebrate my Brother's Communion. -
6th Birthday
It was my last Birthday in Argentina, with all my family and my Argentinian friends. I had lots of presents and a big cake with pirats. -
First Day in OFS
Singapore was the first country that I lived other than Argentina.
OFS was my second school after 4 years of being with the same people in a smaller school in Buenos Aires. -
"ASADO"
In Argentina it is very common to get together with family or friends on Sundays or Saturdays and share an asado. An asado is like a BBQ.
This photo is of the last asado I had in Argentina, with my brother and all my cousins.
