  • Birth

    Werner Heisenberg was born in Wurzburg, Germany on December 5th 1901. His Father was Dr. August Heisenberg and his mother was Annie Wecklein. His father was a Hystorian that focused on they Byzantine Empire. His mother was a house wife that took care of the kids.
  • University

    Heisenberg started University at the University of Munich. where he study physics. His instructors where Sommerfeld, wien, Pringsheim, and Rosenthal.
  • Winter studies

    During the winter of 1922 he went to Gottingen to study under Born, Franck, Hilbert.
  • Venia Legendi

    The title of Venia Legeni was earned at the University of Gottingen in 1924 just one year after he took his PH.D at the University of Munich.
  • Nobel prize

    Heisenberg made his first huge contribution to the world in 1925 when he was only 23 years. At such a young age he published his work on quantum mechanics. This directly led to the discovery of allotropic forms of hydrogen which we use today in Hydrogen powered cars and in cooling for nuclear power plants. For this accomplishment he was awarded the Nobel prize for Physics in 1932.
  • Death

    Heisenberg died on February 1, 1976. besides the great accomplishment of being awarded the Nobel prize in the study of physics he held many titles and earned many other awards. he received an honorary doctorate from three universities, University of Bruxelles, the Technological University Karlsruhe, and recently (1964) of the University of Budapest. Heisenberg was also the President of the alexander Von Humboldt Foundation
