    I finally got a brother! I had other sisters who were fine, but I had always wanted a little brother and on this day, I received great news!! I had a brother!

  • Boston Marathon bombing

    Two homemade bombs detonated near the finish line of the Boston Marathon, killing a few and injuring hundreds.
  • Death of a Classmate: Sammy Lubbers

    June 12, 2017, a beloved classmate and friend was taken in a car crash to her heavenly home. Her name was Samantha Lubbers. We went to the same elementary school and high school. I knew her but not super well. This event taught me to get to know everybody because time is short.
  • Public Confession of Faith

    I went before the Consistory of my church to make Confession of my Faith, and then later, I made public confession during a church service.
  • Hurricane Relief in Port Arthur, Texas

    During spring break my senior year of high school, I and a bunch of other students volunteered to go to Texas to aid in the cleaning up and rebuilding of some Texas cities. I went to Port Arthur, Texas. This was a city that was already on the poorer side before the hurricane.
  • All-State Soccer Banquet

    This was the banquet where I received the First team All-state award for my senior soccer season in high school. This was special because it showed all the hard work that I had put in throughout my soccer career had finally paid off.
