Death of a Classmate: Sammy Lubbers
June 12, 2017, a beloved classmate and friend was taken in a car crash to her heavenly home. Her name was Samantha Lubbers. We went to the same elementary school and high school. I knew her but not super well. This event taught me to get to know everybody because time is short. -

Hurricane Relief in Port Arthur, Texas
During spring break my senior year of high school, I and a bunch of other students volunteered to go to Texas to aid in the cleaning up and rebuilding of some Texas cities. I went to Port Arthur, Texas. This was a city that was already on the poorer side before the hurricane. -
All-State Soccer Banquet
This was the banquet where I received the First team All-state award for my senior soccer season in high school. This was special because it showed all the hard work that I had put in throughout my soccer career had finally paid off. -
