Marie curie was born in Warsaw -
Graduated Highschool
She was the first student in her school to graduated highschool at the age of 15. Left with a gold medal. This was for being the top student in her school. While she excelled in all subjects she had a deep love for science. -
Master's Degree
She moved to Paris to continue her education at the Sorbonne College. She graduated as top student again and got a degree in Physics. -
Marriage
When she was in Sorbonne she met Pierre Curie. They both had a love for science and so they bonded. In the following year she married him at the age of 26. -
Important Discoveries Were Made
Together they worked on solving how radio activity works. On this day they made the important discovery of the radioactive element radium. -
Nobel prize
On this day Marie Curie's hard work payed off and she was rewarded with a Nobel Prize because of her discoveries with her husband; Pierre Curie. She won a Nobel prize in physics. -
Another Nobel Prize!
Marie Curie 8 years later was rewarded with another Nobel prize! This time she won the reward in the field of Chemistry. -
Death
Marie Curie died because in Savoy, France. She died because of a blood disease that is often caused by to much exposure of radiation.
