Marie-Antoinette,in full Marie-Antoinette-Josèphe-Jeanne d'Autriche-Lorraine was born in Vienna,Austria .Her mother was María Teresa I of Austria and her father was Francis I, Holy Roman Emperor, She grew up with her ten sisters and four brothers. -
Union
Marie Antoinette was forced to marry for the union between France and Austria , her fiance was Luis Augusto heir to the french throne .On June 13th ,1769 Luis Augusto made the proposal .(They didn't had the best marriage,he was quite and shy and she was lively and fun,they took 7 years to finally get comfortable with the marriage) -
New life
On April 17th ,1770 Marie Antoinette Renounced her rights over her parents throne and four days later she left to France and on May 16th of the same year she married to Luis Augusto in Versailles. -
Queen
Louis XV the dad of Luis Augusto died and made Luis the new king making Marie Antoinette the new queen of France. -
Children
After 8 years of Marriage they finally decided to have kids, their first daughter was Marie-Thérèse three years later they had their 2nd child named Louis Joseph Xavier,the 3rd child was Luis Carlos and the last one was Sophie that died at 1 year of age. -
Coup d'Etat
In 1780 Marie Antoinette had a lost of parties ignoring the Financial problems In France .This and other misunderstandings ( Collar in 1785) made the population really mad at her and the French government (also there was a fake rumor saying that she said "Let them eat cake " at the french Revolution) This made a coup d'Etat in 1789 , they decided to escape but it was too late they got captured and made prisoners,they decapitated her husband and separated her from her kids . -
Death
Finally after many events ,humiliation she died the guillotine
leaving her kids alone and made history in France .She passed from a Life full of luxuries to being a prisoner in a Unpleasant cell.
