In 1292, the Polos finally leaves the Kublai Khan. They had one condition as the left the Khan which was to bring the Mongol princess to be bethrothed to a person in the Persian empire. -

After being away for over 23 years the Polos are finally able to arrive home in Venice. Their family had given up hope that they were alive were happy when they weer all reunited. -

Captured in Genoa
After his return to Venice, Marco Polo took part in a sea battle for his city against the Geonese. Marco Polo was captued by the rival port of Genoa and put into prison. -

Released from Prison
Marco Polo was finally released from prison becomming a celebrity because of the books he wrote in prison with Rustichello da Pisa. -

Marco Polo dies
After returning to Venice after being in prison, he got married and raised three daughters for 25 years. He also carried on the family businness. -
